The development of Framework Guidelines on Electricity Balancing Market Integration is one of ACER’s priorities in 2011.
In this context, the European Agency for the cooperation of Energy Regulators organizes a Workshop on Electricity Balancing Market Integration on 24 October in Ljubljana.
This workshop is an important initial step in the development of the Framework Guidelines within which the respective Network Codes on Electricity Balancing Market Integration will have to be developed. The workshop is the occasion for ACER to present its current views on the main policy options available as well as for the Agency to collect the opinions from stakeholders on this essential topic for EU’s electricity market. A Summary on Electricity Balancing is attached to this invitation to give you an indication of the issues which will be addressed during the workshop.
Stakeholders who wish to attend the workshop are kindly requested to register below as soon as possible and no later than (17 October 2011) 20 October 2011.
